How do I become a Monthly Subscriber?
You can do so through this link in our website: Monthly Subscription. When you enter your information the system sets up an automatic monthly payment. You can cancel at any time by logging in to your FCBDU account, clicking on your profile avatar at the top right of the website, and Managing your Subscriptions.
There are so many classes. Where do I start?
Here are some ways you can start:
We recommend you start by taking the Fundamentals Program. Then you can move on to our Intermediate and Advanced Programs.
Or if you’re a Technique nerd, you can start by taking our Technique focused classes, including almost the entire FCBD® movement vocabulary! We add to this library every month.
Maybe, you’ve worked hard on your Technique for some time now, and would like to focus on Dialect. At FCBD®U, our dialect classes are only from steps that are on a FCBD®DVD or promoted by Carolena Nericcio. This ensures any dialect you learn with us is consistent with what you'd find in a performance with other dancers from around the world.
Looking to review a specific step? You can search our entire catalog using filters or the search bar at the top of our Course Page.
Or you may want to spend time really diving into a certain step or concept. So you can start by taking the full workshops, specialty classes and mini intensives.
We also hold on-going weekly LIVE classes to build on your body conditioning, technique and education, for a full Online Dance Studio experience!.

Can I purchase classes and workshops individually if I don’t want a subscription?
Yes you can, each and every one of our Classes, Workshops, Courses and Series are available on their own. And when bought on their own, you get lifetime access!
Are all classes in English?
Most of the classes are in English; however, we have a whole Level 1 Series in Spanish with Instructor Lore Rojas and we are working on making classes in other languages available.
What if I have questions for the instructor?
You have the option to ask any questions you have on each of our Classes at FCBDU. Just scroll down the page when viewing the Class video, and find the “Post a comment” field. The Instructors get your questions, and they answer directly under your comments.
Plus, as a monthly subscriber, you can ask Carolena directly during our monthly Ask Carolena sessions.
Do you have classes on props and dialect steps?
Our main focus is providing the official steps and dialect of FCBD®Style. We have all of the Volume 9 dialect steps including classes taught by Devi Mamak and Super Beth. We also have a full sword dialect course with Instructor Jen Cerdena, on the Introduction to FCBD®Style Sword Dialect, its Foundations, Technique and Drills. And we’re always working to add more wonderful things to our School!
How do you select instructors?
Our #1 priority at FCBD®️ University is to offer the same technique you’ll find in any official FCBD®️ Certification Course, like General Skills and Teacher Training, in other words, accurate, reliable instruction. That is why our team consists of the creator of our dance style, Carolena Nericcio, the creators of the dialect steps you’ll find on volume 9 instructional DVD and many of the certified continuing education/Advanced instructors from around the world.
We also have instructors who have a reputation for their high quality of teaching showcasing their areas of expertise like costuming, specialty drills, transitions and more!
We want you to feel 100% confident that you are receiving quality instruction and accurate technique with the world’s leading instructors.
