We shine brightest when we dance together. The magic of FCBD®Style (also known as ATS®) is in the connection, shapes, and experiences we create when we work together. In this workshop, we're turning our attention to group formations: duets, trios, quartets, diagonals, fades, and dueling duets, the full constellation of shapes we can make as a group.

This workshop is designed for intermediate and advanced level FCBD®Style dancers who want to dig deep into the endless possibilities of formations. We'll explore which steps and combinations work best in each formation, the best options for circling, and how to "steal the lead" when dancing café style or with the audience all around you. We'll work on spacing, dynamic lead changes, and more ways to make your formations and performances sparkle like the stars you are. And as always, we'll dig into the technique behind the steps we use, because clean formations start with clean technique and cues.

Performance option: Let's take what we build right to the stage that same evening, performing together as a group in the student showcase. What a beautiful way to celebrate our time learning and dancing together.
